Lid open. Tick? No tick → battery / collector box.
Tick, no snap at one tube: that ceramic.
All snap, no fire: regulator reset .
Tank off. Grates/tents out. Photograph clamp and wire boot.
Replace ceramic. Gap to the port edge / factory tab.
Do not install an IR emitter electrode in a convective Performance box.
Test lid open.
