Weber Genesis II E-335 flavorizer bars

Five 17.1-inch 66795/66032 bars over three Genesis II 300 mains. Leave the side sear uncovered — it is not a fourth flavorizer station.

Genesis II E-335 has three GS4 mains plus a side sear. Flavorizers are still the five-bar 17.1” 300-series set (66032 / 66795). People buy a six-bar “sear kit” that does not exist in Weber’s 300 schematic. Keep bars off the sear burner.

Infinity ignition and sear electrode are separate: E-335 igniter.

Procedure

  1. Fascia Genesis II E-335 (or S-335). Photograph the sear so you do not cover it later.
  2. Cold. Grates off. Five bars over three mains; sear has its own shield or none — not a 66795 bar.
  3. Measure ~17.1”. Reject Spirit 15.3” and II 400 66797.
  4. Match the verified II 300 listing.
  5. Lift bars. Scrape main-box notches only.
  6. Reseat five peaks over the three tubes. Leave the sear bay empty of main bars.
  7. Grates on. Preheat mains and sear separately. A bar that crept onto the sear will warp.
  8. Floor rust: repair vs replace.

FAQ

Does Genesis II E-335 use different flavorizer bars than E-310?

No for the main box. Same 300-series five-bar 66795/66032 family. The sear is extra hardware, not a sixth flavorizer.

Will 66797 Genesis II 400 bars fit E-335?

No. 400-series length/count is a wider box.
