Traeger drip tray liners (search-only)

Foil drip-tray liners are a consumable. Measure the barrel tray (Pro 575 vs 780 vs Ironwood). No fake hot-rod ASINs — liners are search-only.

Grease drip path from grate to cup Fat hits flavorizer bars, sheds to the firebox floor, runs the rear rail, drops into the cup. SIDE · DRIP PATH 1 grates 2 flavorizers shed fat 3 firebox floor 4 rear rail 5 cup A packed cup backs grease into the burners and the tank cabinet. Empty the cup, scrape the rail, reseat so the drop lands in the pan — not the island.

Pellet grease should run the drip tray into a bucket. When the tray is a tar lake, the next cook is a grease fire in the barrel. Liners are foil shapes for that tray. They are a consumable. We do not pin an ASIN: liner sizes are model-specific and Amazon titles lie. Search Traeger drip tray liner plus your model, then match the photo to the steel tray in the barrel.

This is not a hot-rod page. Igniter length is still unverified as 6”/8” OEM: Traeger hot rod, Pro 575, Pro 780.

Procedure

  1. Unplug the grill. Cold. Gloves.
  2. Remove the grate and heat baffle. Lift the steel drip tray. Do not fold it — a crease becomes a grease dam.
  3. Measure the tray (Pro 575 tray is not Pro 780). Write width × depth.
  4. Scrape cold tallow into a can. If the drain tube is plugged, warm the tube — do not rod through the barrel wall. Grease path.
  5. Wash the steel tray. Rust-through → replace the tray, not just foil.
  6. Search Amazon/BBQGuys for Traeger drip tray liners and pick the listing that matches your measurement. Skip “universal pellet” sheets that leave a 2” gap at the drain.
  7. One liner, tight, hole at the drain. A wad of foil is a fire.
  8. Empty the bucket every cook. A liner does not replace a bucket.

FAQ

Can I skip liners and just foil the Traeger tray?

You can, if the foil is one layer, tight, and open at the drain. Crumpled foil blocks the tube and is how barrel fires start.

Did you pin an ASIN?

No. Liners are search-only. No invented Traeger foil ASIN.
