Nexgrill 720-0864 burner tubes

Four 14-7/8-inch × 1-inch pin-mounted tubes for 720-0864. Same length class as 720-0830H; not a five-tube 720-0896 kit.

Every port open. CLOGGED Grease in the holes. Yellow, lift, dead spots. Ream with a bit smaller than the port. Do not drill oversized. Brass brush the row. Keep liquid out of the venturi / inlet. If the tube wall is lace under the ports, replace the set — do not patch holes.

720-0864 mains are typically 14-7/8” × 1” stainless, orifice at the front, cotter at the rear — the same class as 720-0830H tubes. A universal 4-burner set that is 3/4” short will not swallow the brass and pin at the same time. That gap is flashback.

Count tubes. If you have five mains you are not on 0864.

Procedure

  1. Photograph tubes, pins, electrode, carryover notches.
  2. Tank off. Grates and 720-0864 tents out.
  3. Straighten and pull cotters. Keep one as a pattern.
  4. Lift rear, slide off orifice. Twist if rust-welded — do not bend brass.
  5. Sky-check. Extra holes or a packed nest: scrap that tube. Spiders.
  6. Dry-fit four 14-7/8” × 1” tubes. Inlet fully on; pin hole lines up.
  7. Pin rears. Electrode nickel gap. Tents over ports.
  8. Soap. Lid open. Light each main, then the side burner.

Does 720-0864 use the same burners as 720-0830H?

Usually the same 14-7/8” × 1” four-pack class. Confirm the stamp including suffix. 720-0888 listings sometimes mean 5-burner — count before you buy one 4-pack.
