Weber Spirit E-210 burner tubes

Two-tube Spirit E-210 / Spirit II E-210: 69785 18-inch set, crossover, and why a three-burner 69787 kit will not pin in a 210 box.

Clean versus clogged burner ports Left tube shows even open ports and a blue flame sketch. Right tube shows grease-clogged ports and a yellow uneven flame. BURNER TUBE · PORTS CLEAN Even blue cones. Every port open. CLOGGED Grease in the holes. Yellow, lift, dead spots. Ream with a bit smaller than the port. Do not drill oversized. Brass brush the row. Keep liquid out of the venturi / inlet. If the tube wall is lace under the ports, replace the set — do not patch holes.

The E-210 firebox is narrower than the E-310. Two mains, two flavorizers, two knobs. People still buy a three-tube Spirit 300 kit because the lid says Spirit. The third tube has nowhere honest to live.

Front-control 2013+ E-210 / Spirit II E-210 typically uses Weber 69785. Confirm year on the plate. Three knobs → E-310 tubes.

Procedure

  1. Photograph the two tubes, electrode, and crossover.
  2. Grates and two E-210 flavorizer bars out.
  3. Move the left electrode if it blocks the tube. E-210 igniter.
  4. Rear pins or screws out. Slide each inlet off the brass.
  5. Sky-check. Split seam or extra holes: scrap.
  6. Dry-fit both new tubes. If a tube is long enough that the rear hole overshoots the retainer, you have a 310 kit. Return it.
  7. Pin the rears. Seat the crossover on both tubes. Gap the electrode.
  8. Bars over the two port rows. Tank on. Soap the joint. Lid open. Light left, then right.
