463242715 cooking surface is usually a set of matte cast-iron tops (OEM G541-0016-W2 class, about 17” × 9-1/2” each) that sit on the stainless emitters. Do not order Performance 5-burner three-piece convective kits for this IR Commercial cart.

Procedure

  1. Plate photo: 463242715 / 463242716 TRU-Infrared.
  2. Cold. Lift grates. Measure front-to-back and side-to-side of one piece.
  3. Count pieces. Confirm they nest on the emitters without rocking.
  4. Compare the verified G541-0016-W2-class listing. Reject convective Performance photos that show no emitters.
  5. Drop new grates in. They should sit flat on emitters, not on bare tents.
  6. Light and preheat. If emitters rock under the grate, fix emitters/tents first.
  7. Porcelain chips on old grates: retire them — sharp edges shed into food.
  8. Grease rain through gaps: check emitters and flare-ups.

FAQ

Do I need emitters and grates together?

Often yes if both are rusted. Emitters are the perforated bottoms; grates are the cast-iron tops. Measure both.
