Brand note
Traeger parts
Pellet grills. The hot-rod igniter length (commonly 6 in or 8 in) is model-specific. Unplug before you open the hopper or firepot.
Fix My Grill is not affiliated with Traeger. The name is used only so you can identify the grill you already own.

Procedures for this brand
Traeger hot rod igniter replacement
Unplug first. How to reach the firepot hot rod on Pro, Ironwood, and older Pro Series, test a cartridge heater, and match 6-inch versus 8-inch length without inventing a SKU.
Traeger Pro 575 hot rod
Pro 575 uses a D2 / WiFIRE DC igniter, not a universal 6-inch or 8-inch AC cartridge. Unplug, match KIT0255-class length to the diagram, and do not install a Pro Series 22 AC rod.
Traeger Pro 780 hot rod
Pro 780 shares D2/WiFIRE logic with the 575 but not a guaranteed rod length. Unplug, measure the sheath, and do not install a Pro Series 34 AC hot rod or a guessed 6-inch part.
Traeger drip tray liners (search-only)
Foil drip-tray liners are a consumable. Measure the barrel tray (Pro 575 vs 780 vs Ironwood). No fake hot-rod ASINs — liners are search-only.
Traeger Ironwood 650 hot rod
Ironwood 650 is D2 / WiFIRE — use KIT0255-class DC igniter, not AC KIT0088. Confirm sheath length on the Ironwood diagram for your serial.
Traeger Pro Series 22 hot rod
Pro Series 22 uses an AC hot rod (KIT0088 / BAC199 class, ~3.5" cartridge) — not a Pro 575 D2 DC rod. Unplug and match the Molex connector.
Traeger Ironwood 885 hot rod
Ironwood 885 D2 igniter is KIT0255-class DC. Confirm length against the 885 parts diagram — do not install Pro Series 22 AC rods.
Traeger Timberline 850 hot rod
Timberline 850: Gen1 AC (TFB85WLB-class) uses KIT0088/KIT0223; Gen2 D2 uses KIT0255. Read the controller generation before you order.
